Totally Leashed Virtual Walk
THERAPET IS GOING ON A VIRTUAL WALK! LEASH UP WITH US!
We’re looking forward to getting back on track and seeing everyone in person at our huge Totally Unleashed event in the Fall of 2021. But until then, we’ve decided to host an exciting new virtual walk event, Totally Leashed! Because thanks to COVID, we’re back on our leash this year!
We’re not naming names, but some of the Therapets have gained weight during these socially distanced months. Join the Totally Leashed Virtual Walk and help us fight those Pandemic Pounds while helping to raise much-needed funds for Therapet Animal Assisted Therapy. It’s been a RUFF year and your support will help us prepare for the future.
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS A VIRTUAL WALK?
It’s just like a regular walk, the only difference is that on race day, you and your dog will be the only one at the starting line!
Walk alone, with your best friends, or family members, it’s up to you. It’s just as fun, it gets you moving, and it’s on your timeline. And P.S. – if you choose to sit on your couch that day, no one will be the wiser! (wink)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN TOTALLY LEASHED
1. REGISTER.
Buy a registration in the shop. Registration fee is $25 and includes a Totally Leashed t-shirt! Don’t forget to challenge your friends and family to join, too.
T-shirt registration deadline is October 28. Once registered, pick up your t-shirt on November 12, 2020 between 3-7 pm at Therapet (225 E. Amherst St, Ste 200, Tyler, TX 75701). We’ll have dog toys and bandanas for sale, plus a food truck or two!
2. WALK (or run) — anytime, anywhere!
Grab your 4-legged friend and get moving! Do laps in your neighborhood, at the local park, or around your yard!
3. TAKE PICS WITH YOUR 4-LEGGED FRIEND.
We would love for you to share your fun photos (or videos) with us! All “Leashed Up” and on the move, chasing a ball, or enjoying a post-walk treat.
